Flemon Terry Webb age 93 of Rocky Mount, Va. passed to his final reward peacefully in his sleep on Friday October 23, 2009. He was born in Franklin County on January 2, 1916. Except for the 5 years he spent in the Army during WWII, he lived his entire life in Franklin County on the farm passed down from his father and grandfather. He was an active member of Antioch Church of the Brethren, serving as deacon for many years. He was a loving and much loved husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas and Lenora Allie Saul Webb, wife of 55 years, Eva Cahill Webb, infant daughter, brothers Andrew, Lewis, Thomas and sister Rachel. Terry is survived by a sister Lenora (Dot) Webb Richardson, sons John E. Webb, Earl L. Webb, Larry A. Webb and wife Lynne and Amos T. Webb and wife Donna, grandchildren Stephen P. Webb and wife Michelle, Jared A. Webb, Lauren F. Howle, John E. Webb II, Charles B. Howle Jr. Emily B. Webb and Brittney Webb Hill and husband John Hill, Great-grandchildren John Micheal Hill and Lane Alexander Webb. Funeral services well be conducted 3:00 p.m. Monday at Antioch Church of the Brethren with Rev. David Wolfe and Rev. Tom Powers officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post 6. The family will receive friends on Sunday from from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service 665 South Main Street Rocky Mount, Va. and other times at the home of Earl Webb at 151 Graveyard Knob Rd.
