Flossie Pagans Holland

Flossie Pagans Holland, age 88 of Rocky Mount, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. One of eleven children, Flossie was born on April 19, 1931. Over the years, she rejoiced in her role as a daughter, sister, devoted wife and mother, very special Granny, and loving friend to many. Her faith was strong, her heart was big, and in her own words, she “loved everyone.” She will be remembered for her faith in the Lord, joy for cooking, ability to never meet a stranger, positively charming feistiness, witty humor, eagerness to help, and much more. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 47 years, Posey Lester Holland, her parents Pete and Frances Pagans, and her brothers and sisters: Ervin, Pete Jr., Mearl, Ruby, Mildred, Estelle, and Drucilla. She will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind including her daughter Sandra H. Ingram, son and daughter-in-law Randy and Susan Holland, granddaughter Richelle Holland, and grandson Travis Holland, as well as her sister and brothers Nancy Holland, Henry Pagans, Buck Pagans, several nieces and nephews, and a number of special friends. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Joe Dillon at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2019, with interment following at the family cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 6, 2019, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church in Rocky Mount. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
