Frances Tilley

Frances Louise Tilley, age 76 of Bassett passed away at the home of her daughter on Saturday, October 10, 2009. She was a member of Fairway Baptist Church. She was born October 10, 1933 and was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Sanford Tilley; five brothers; and two sisters. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Linda Tilley, Roger and Patsy Tilley, Ricky and Lisa Tilley, Tim and Teresa Tilley, Mark and Tracy Tilley; daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Bob Parnell, Kim and Tim Dalton, Lisa and Ted McCormick; 23 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Fairway Baptist Church 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Steve Tilley and Rev. Kirk Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Solid Rock Baptist Church, c/o Steve Tilley, 5850 Henry Road, Henry, Virginia 24102. Her family will be receiving friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday at Fairway Baptist Church and other times at the home of Carolyn and Bob Parnell, 1405 Crestview Drive, Bassett, Virginia.
