On the glorious day of , Tuesday, July 17, 2007, Francis R. (Frank) Grisetti, Jr., of Rocky Mount, Va. entered Heaven joining his beloved wife, Ernestine Lemery Grisetti; his parents, Francis and Florence; his sister, Joyce and his daughter, Mary Elizabeth.

He leaves his six children and their spouses, John and Pat, Kathy and Sonny Small, Cindy Mansfield, Mike and Rita, Joe and Deneen, Rob and Kari; grandchildren, Jason and Melissa Boucher, April and Chris Nail, Shawn and Bonita Sabia, Jenny and Mark Whiting, Tim Mansfield, Kate Mansfield, Nicole and fiancee Jay Ouellette, Tinah and James Price, Danny and Victoria Small, Josh and Jonathan; great-grandson, Tyler Boucher; brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Myrt; sisters-in-law, June Girard, Joyce Rankine, and Dorine Farry; and many nieces and nephews; special friends, George Mansfield, Linda Cullinan, Paul Fisher and devoted pet, Missy.

Although he leaves us behind on this earth, we are comforted by his faith now made sight. Francis Grisetti touched the hearts and minds of those he met. He served 21 years in the Marine Corp. During years of loyal service he proudly served as a drill instructor at Parris Island, S.C. and as a member of the Silent Drill Team in Washington, D.C. He was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He received his Master's degree in Accounting at Southeastern University. He was a professor at Benjamin Franklin University. He was an auditor for ICC and was a member of the National Association of Accountants. He served as committee chairman and faithful leader of the Boy Scouts. As a Scout Leader he achieved Order of the Arrow. Francis was a dedicated member of his church family, Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He served as Eucharistic Minister and Parish Council chair. During his lifetime he strived to minister to others. His life will continue to serve as an example to us all. Semper Fidelis.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Rocky Mount, Va. from 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, July 20, 2007 at 11 a.m. from Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Msgr. Joseph P. Lehman officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association Blue Ridge of VA, 2728 Colonial Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24018.
