Frank Roosevelt Arrington

Franklin (Frank) Roosevelt Arrington, age 83 of Moneta, departed his earthly home unexpectly on Friday, September 14, 2018. Frank was a military veteran, proudly serving his country in the US Air Force for four years. He retired from UPS as a pilot. He was an active member of Halesford Baptist Church for many years. He was preceded in death by his son Dale Alan Arrington; his parents, Dock Thomas and Nannie Grace Arrington; brothers Lonzie, Thomas Jr. and James Herman; sisters Christine Short, Louvenia Hilbrecht and Natalie Silvercloud. Survived by his son Keith Edwin Arrington; grandson John Arrington; granddaughter April Flint; great-grandson, Nathaniel; great-granddaughters, Julia, Sophia, Serena and Maria Flint; brother, Fred Arrington; sisters Edna Fitzgerald and Nancy M. Dalton (Robert); his church family at Halesford Baptist Church, his helpful and caring neighbors and other cherished friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Halesford Baptist Church with Rev. Melvin Harris officiating. Interment will follow at the Arrington-Perdue Family Cemetery, Glade Hill. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Halesford Baptist Church, 2485 Lost Mountain Road, Wirtz, VA, 24184.
