Frank Wilford Meeks

Frank Wilford Meeks, our beloved dad and brother, 76 of Rocky Mount passed away Monday, May 2, 2011. He was born December 31, 1934 a son of the late Frank Fred and Beulah Robertson Meeks. Mr. Meeks was a charter member of Furnace Creek Baptist Church, a veteran of the US Army and retired from Lane Company after many years of service. Surviving are a son Anthony Todd Meeks; sisters and brother-in-law, Christine and Andrew Altice and Betty Mullins; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of special friends at Trinity Mission. Funeral Services will be conducted 2 PM Wednesday at Furnace Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Lawhorn and Rev. David McCarty officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. His family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 pm at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
