Frank Francis Quinn, age 86 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 27, 2014. Frank was born in Franklin County, Virginia on April 3, 1928. He graduated from Franklin County High School in 1947. He served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1956 in the 8th infantry, then 101st Airborne Div. and finally in the 176th Finance Dis. Sec. Frank was stationed in the Pacific during the Korean War. He and his family moved to Roanoke in 1966. His last employment was with Eli Lilly as a Supervisor. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Alisha Quinn; his daughter, Linda Quinn; his parents, Charlie M. Quinn and Pearlie Atkins Quinn; and his brothers, Arlie Quinn, Willard Quinn, and L.G. Quinn. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Reva Jean (Law) Quinn; his son and daughter in-law Rod and Amy Quinn; grandsons, Cody, and Caleb Quinn; granddaughters, Shannon, and Hannah Quinn. Special thanks to the V.A. Hospital of Salem, Loria Rutherford, and the staff at PCT E 11, Medi Home Health, and Hospice Care Marianne Dudley, RN, Jennifer Wood, Team Nurse CAN Stephanie Lipford and nieces, Tammy and Michelle for love, care, and support. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Chapel, Rocky Mount, VA with Pastor Daniel Rudy and Chaplain Sherrill Michael officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery, Rocky Mount, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Medi Home Hospice. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
