Fred Mays, 71, of Wirtz, Va. passed away Sunday, September 27, 2009. Surviving are his wife Cheryl Mays, thier two daughters Cherry Wilson, Cheryl Durst, grandchildren Cori-Lynn Wilson, Cassity Wilson, Calista Kaylee Charlie Wilson, Calvin Lugwig, Aaron Durst, Sierra Durst, one brother Charles Mays, one sister Helen Bowling, his five other children Kathy Phillips, Anthony Mays, Fred Mays Jr., Margie McCormack, Melissa Ayers. Many nieces and nephews and other family members. Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Jordon Baptist Church 3708 Parkwood Ave. Lynchburg, Va. 24501.
