Gail Irene Malishaucki

Gail Irene Malishaucki, age 74 of Glade Hill, VA went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Gail was born in Tamaqua, PA on January 21, 1940 to the late Robert C. Endy and Irene E. Wertman. She graduated from Tamaqua High School with honors. While in high school she was active in the Tri-Hi-Y, Commercial Club, Choir Director, Glee Club, Spring Concerts, and the Lehigh Valley Spelling Bee. She was employed by Weller Brothers and Miners National Bank. In August 1958, she married her high school sweetheart, Tom Malishaucki. Tom and Gail enjoyed many years of marriage together- they experienced many adventures in life, their latest was building their beloved home in Glade Hill, Va. together. Gail loved her family, taking care of her home, gardening and she could frequently be found with one of her many beloved animals. She is survived by her husband, Tom of Glade Hill, children, Susan Spataro (John) of Rocky Mount, Diane Daly (Bob) of Perkasie, PA; two grandchildren, J.T. Spataro and Cameron Daly; and sister-in-law, Mary Rhodunda (Bill). Visitation will be held at Flora Funeral Service on Friday from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Glade Hill Baptist Church, where Gail was a member on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Rev. David Long officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Following the interment, a reception will be held in the fellowship hall. Special thanks to Gail?s caregivers, Becky, Ruby, Deana, Allison, Doris, Asia and Carilion Hospice of Franklin County who took special care of her during these last months. Also thanks to Rev.
