Gary Barger

Gary Barger, age 61 of Pittsville, Va. went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 28, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Katherine and Franklin Reece Barger; and sisters, Beck and Sue. He was an over the road driver for 35 years and was a loving and devoted husband, father and papa. Surviving are his wife, Rose; son, Frankie Barger and wife Gina; very special granddaughter, Nikki; sisters, Mandy, Priss, Diana; brothers, Pete, Nick and Joe; other special and loving friends, Darlene and Terry Gusler; a daily companion, Biscuit; and clothes line friend, Janie. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Hank Brady officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
