Gene Thomas Angle

Gene Thomas Angle, age 75 of Ferrum died Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at his home following complication from Lymphoma. He was born July 30, 1947 a son of the late Raymond and Elizabeth Angle. Surviving are his wife, Margie Angle; daughters, Kimberly Traver (Jim), Kelly Lawton (Howard), Kathy Smithers (Anthony); sisters, Linda Brown (Tom), Bonnie Phillips (Robert); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and in-laws. Gene was a United States Army Veteran also having served in the National Guard. He was a lifetime member of the Franklin County Rescue Squad and former officer of the law. His family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount and other times at the home.
