Geneva Frances Meadows

Geneva Frances Meadows, age 79 of Bassett and formerly of Jewel Ridge, VA died Thursday, December 28, 2023 at her home. She was born June 25, 1944 a daughter of the late Campbell and Elizabeth Keen Bennett. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Charles Meadows; children, Ferlin Meadows (Mary) of Callaway, VA, Geneva Karen Mullins (Jody) of Richlands, VA, Faron Ray Meadows of Callaway, VA, Patricia Renia Sloan of Bassett, Ricky Allen Meadows (Tuesday) of Burnt Chimney, VA; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; sister, Sandy Sisk (Ira); numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Meadows loved gardening, cooking and was devoted to her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. A memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Worship Hymn Church, Cedar Bluff, VA. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
