Geneva Shively

Erma Geneva "Neva" Shively, age 92 of Ferrum passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015. Mrs. Shively was a member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Miranda Atkins Jones; husband, Emmett "Pig" Shively; two brothers, Oscar and Casey Jones; sister, Lora Atkins; daughter, Victory Mae Minter; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Shively. Surviving are her children, Bonnie Greenawalt (Bob), Roger Shively (Bonnie), Trish Davis (Ron); seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Lucy Atkins; brother, Woody Dale Jones (Madeline); a number of nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Junior Shively; and sister-in-law, Vira Shively. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Twin Oaks Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Chapel with Pastor Terry Covey officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of Bonnie Greenawalt, 1960 Dryhill Road, Ferrum, Va. 24088
