Geneva Adkins "Sue" Eagle

Our dear sister and sister-in-law, Geneva Adkins “Sue” Eagle, of Rocky Mount left us to be with her Lord and Savior on December 20, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude C. Eagle; father and mother, Eugene and Louise Adkins; sisters, Lillian Adkins and Myrtle A. Hudson. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Rick Nickelston of Ferrum; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Martha Adkins of Ferrum; brothers, Alex and Wade Adkins of Rocky Mount; sister, Annette Adkins of Rocky Mount; several nieces, nephews and special friends and neighbors, Gary and Cheryl Haynes, Herman and Joyce LaPrade, Gary and Bonnie Hall. Sue was employed by Federal-Mogul Corporation of Blacksburg. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Winston Crichlow and Pastor Carol Johnston officiating. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Atienza and Cindy, Sheri, Sandy and Janice of Carilion Hospice of Franklin County for their loving care and support. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount and other times at Geneva’s residence.
