George Booth Brown

George Booth Brown, 72 of Rocky Mount passed away Friday, June 26, 2015. He was born April 11, 1943, a son of the late Dalton Lee (Boss) and Emma Anderson Brown. He was also preceded in death by his son, Larry King; brother, Lewis Brown; brothers-in-law, Gerald Wray and Greg Hallmark; sister-in-law, Joyce Pelletier. Surviving to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Linda Brown; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Ricky Hodges, son Steve King and wife Cindy; grandchildren Trevor and Logan Hodges, Andy King(Stephanie), Jason King, Brian Jenkins (Ashley); brother and sister-in-law, James and Jeanette Brown; six sisters and brothers-in-law, Ada Wray, Jean and Clyde Mullins, Merle and Billy Eames, Jerry and Butch Foster, Lou and Charles Lynch, Brenda and Roger Franklin; sister-in-law, Betty Brown, in-laws Ronnie and Jean Peters, Chuck and Mary Peters, Phillip and Celease Peters, Susan and Roger Dulaney. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2015 with Pastor Jeff Robinson and Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow with Military Honors in Brown Family Cemetery. His family will receive friends 5-7 pm Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
