George William Brubaker Jr.

George William Brubaker, Jr. age 67, of Rocky Mount passed away on September 11, 2022. George was preceded in death by his father, George Brubaker, Sr. and brother-in-law, James Johnson. He is survived by his mother; Norene Brubaker, daughters; Vanessa Burnette (Stephen), Stephanie Kirk (Robert Abed), sisters; Bonnie Bodnar (Larry), Valerie Latimer (Bill), Tammy Johnson, grandchildren; Jacob Burnette, Caroline Burnette, Taylor Kirk, Hannah Kirk, Rami Abed, Amira Abed and his loyal companion Buddy along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. George served in the United States Army and worked throughout his career as a truck driver. He loved Nascar and any type of Ford, especially Mustangs. George will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022. Interment will follow in the Antioch Church of the Brethren Cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to services at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
