George Elmer Durham, age 74 of Bassett died Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at his home.
He was a son of the late James Henry and Nannie Kate Hudson Durham.
Surviving are his children, Angel Durham, Radford; Joseph and Clifton Durham, Collinsville; sister, Martha Perdue, Moneta; three nephews; six nieces; numerous other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be conducted from the Durham Family Cemetery located in Wirtz, 1 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2008 with Pastor Rick Poland officiating.
Visitation will be private.
Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
