George Raymond Fitzgerald, age 72, of Rocky Mount passed away Saturday March 24, 2007.
Surviving are his wife Annie Mae Fitzgerald of Rocky Mount; sons and daughters-in-law George Raymond Fitzgerald, Jr. of Bassett, David Fitzgerald and wife Melissa of Rocky Mount, Joseph Fitzgerald and wife and Nikki of Bassett, Joshua Fitzgerald and wife Hope of Bassett, Daniel Fitzgerald and wife April of Martinsville, Abraham Fitzgerald and wife Maria of Rocky Mount; daughters and sons-in-law Judy Rogers and husband Eddy of Bassett, Lisa Brown and husband David of Rocky Mount, Roxie Gann and husband Garvin of Martinsville, and Amy Fitzgerald of Bassett; twenty-seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two close friends Joseph Fields and Shannon Bowman.
Funeral Services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Elwood Gallimore officiating. Interment will follow in Henry Memorial Park.
His family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service, 665 S. Main St., Rocky Mount.
