George "Mac" Macarthur Dillon

George MacArthur (Mac) Dillon, age 77 of Glade Hill died Monday, August 5, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Clora Dillon; brother, Dalton Dillon; sisters, Myrtle Taylor, Liz Harrison; special granddaughter, Erika Stanley. Surviving are his caretaker, Helen Dillon; children, Michael Dillon, Regina Haskins (John); step-children, Kimberly Shipman, Kirby Shipman (Laurie), Tammy Peters, Dana Shively; several grandchildren and step-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Fulton Dillon, Willie Dillon (Gracie), Roosevelt Dillon, Russell Dillon, Geraldine Sigmon, Clora Bates, Lena Fralin, Shirley Hale (Roy), Frances Landrum; numerous nieces and nephews. The family requests no flowers. A private graveside service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
