George Taylor

George Marshall Taylor, age 82 of Rocky Mount, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noel and Clemmie Young Taylor; son, Jimmy Taylor; and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are his three sons, Noell “Nat” (Sandra) Taylor, Andy (Lissa) Taylor, and Eric Taylor; two daughters, Colleen Shanley and Lorie Hurt; daughter-in-law, Gertie Taylor; sisters, Sue Nash and Loretta Mills; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel, 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 with Brother Sam Rogers officiating.
