Webster, Evelyn Christine Wagner, all of Glade Hill, Va., and Paul F. Webster of Rocky Mount, Va. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Richard W. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; a special niece, Patricia W. White of Columbus, Ohio; special nephew James W. Wagner of Halifax, Va, and their families. Geraldine is also survived by her sister-in-law, Elizabeth B. Webster of Rocky Mount, Va. Also left to share her memory are many loving Webster and Fralin family cousins. Geraldine was a member of the Disciples of Christ Church having attended Rocky Mount Christian Church and Boones Mill Christian Church. She was a committed Christian who spent time each night with the reading of scripture and prayer. After graduation from Rocky Mount High School, Geraldine attended Lewis Gale School of Nursing and worked in many capacities in the health care field, the last being at Gill Memorial Hospital and the ophthalmology department of the 707 Building where she was employed for 30 years. She was loved and respected by all those with whom she worked and the patients who patronized the doctors' offices there. She was an enthusiastic gardener, lover of the out of doors, traveler and caregiver to her family, extended family, and pets. For many years she took great pride in collecting the ancestry records of the Webster family, also planning and presiding over their annual reunions. In quiet moments, you could find her sitting in her favorite rocking chair watching the birds, crocheting or knitting, and enjoying the company of her beloved pets. Being a superb cook, all who experienced a meal in her home will remember the aroma and taste of special recipes enjoyed at her table. The family would like to thank all the dedicated caregivers who attended her in the last several years especially those at Team Nurse, the staff at Franklin Healthcare and Rehab, and Good Samaritan Hospice. Special thanks and love to Carrie Waldron.
