Geraldine Guilliams Sink

Geraldine Guilliams Sink, age 79 of Rocky Mount died Thursday, November 29, 2012. She was born October 12, 1933 a daughter of the late John and Stella Marie Guilliams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Claude “Pete” Sink; her two infant sons; and infant grandson. She was an active member of Gogginsville United Methodist Church and was a school bus driver of 37 years with the Franklin County Public Schools. Geraldine loved quilting, gardening and flowers. Surviving are her children, Debbie Sink Foster and husband Derise V. Foster, Trudey M. Sink and husband Victor Rivera, Leon Sink and wife Cheryl L. Sink; seven grandchildren, Carrie F. Altice and husband Wayne Altice, Katherine (Katie) Foster, Adam, Victor Manuel, Jessica and Herminio Rivera Sink, Morgan Champagne and husband Simon Champagne; five great-grandchildren, Ashton and Abigail Altice, Eliana and Eli Champagne, Bentley Andrez Rivera; sister, Joyce Harris and husband Maynard; sisters-in-law, Marie Flora and husband Donnie, Betty Dooley; many nieces and nephews and her wonderful church family. Special thanks to the 5th floor staff of Catawba Hospital for their care. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday from Gogginsville United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Richardson and Rev. Bradley S. Dulaney officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Gogginsville United Methodist Church.
