Geralene Burgess

Geralene A. Burgess of Boones Mill passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008. She was owner and operator of Lovely Lady Beauty Salon in Boones Mill for 39 years. She was preceded in death by her father Everette Lee Burgess. Surviving are her mother Myrtle Young Burgess; sister and brother-in-law Marie and Al Akers; one nephew Kevin Akers; special friend Sarah Minnix; several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family extends appreciation to the Dialysis Center for their care and concern for Geralene for the past five years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Franklin County Dialysis Facility, 300 Technology Dr., Rocky Mount, VA 24151. A graveside service will be conducted from Mountain View Memorial Park 11:00 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Robert Williard officiating.
