Gerry Warren Divers

Gerry Warren Divers, age 78 of Glade Hill died Sunday, June 2, 2013. He was a heavy equipment operator and a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Gerry was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Izora Holland Divers. Surviving are his wife, Faye Turner Divers; son, Basil Divers; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Joey Kincer; three grandchildren, Lisa Divers, Kristin Divers, Kaitlin Divers; one great-grandson, Michael Levi Fields; sister, Gaynelle Hustler; and uncle, Glenwood Divers. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Denver Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Turner Family Cemetery. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
