Gilda Worley Haley

Gilda Worley Haley, age 86 of Rocky Mount went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 5, 2018, 24 years to the day after her husband of 45 years, James B (Chicken) Haley. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Claude Worley, Sr. and Hattie Dodson Worley; her two brothers, Buford Worley and Claude (Preacher) Worley, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Susan (David) Arrington and Gina (Ronnie) Kennett; grandchildren, Brian (Jonie) Arrington, Jaime (Scottie) Manning and Bradley (Danielle) Kennett; great grandchildren, Nicholas and Madison Arrington, Hunter Manning and Owen Kennett; sister, Frances Worley Hodges (Shirley); sister-in-law, Delores Worley; numerous nieces and nephews; a special caregiver, Lorraine King. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2018 with Randy Jones and Pastor Joe Dillon officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
