Ginger W. Bowman

Ginger W. Bowman, age 78 of Boones Mill went to be with her Heavenly Father Saturday, August 16, 2025. She was born July 16, 1947, the daughter of the late Raymond and Mabel Amos Morris. Surviving to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 57 years, Harlan Otho Bowman; son, Joe (Anita) Bowman; two granddaughters, Ariel and Davina; sister-in-law, Karen (Lance) Hodges; brother-in-law, Leon (Patty) Bowman; nieces, Carla (Gary) Helton and Angie (Trey) Easley; great nieces and nephews, Joleigh, Gavin, Adalynn and Corinne; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ginger was a longstanding member of Franklin Heights Church. She was a choir member and a part of the Joyful Women Connect group. She was also a past member of Boones Mill Fire and Rescue along with her husband. Ginger was retired from Roanoke Memorial Hospital. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in her honor to the Wounded Warrior Project (https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate). A Celebration of Life will be held at Franklin Heights Church, 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2025 . Inurnment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
