Gladys Oneida Hodges, age 81 of Rocky Mount died Saturday, July 28, 2007 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond A. Hodges; a son, Terry A. Hodges; one grandchild, George “Michael” Cooper; one great-grandchild, Carson Cline Hodges; brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Cline and Carolyn Hodges; daughters and son-in-law, Alma Dillon, Doreta and George “Pug” Cooper all of Rocky Mount; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren.
Gladys loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who loved her.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor’s Randy Sawyers, Cecil Riley and Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Hodges Family Cemetery on Ashpone Tavern Road.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 – 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 S. Main Street, Rocky Mount.
