Gladys R. Scott, 94 of Penhook, passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 5, 2013. She is survived by two sons, Gerald Wayne Harvell and Gary Neil Scott both of Penhook; sister, Mamie Brogan of Roanoke; step-sister, Odessa Shelton of Hurt. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Flora Funeral Chapel with Wayne Keith and Lee Ashley, Ministers officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Christian Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 6-8 pm Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
