Gladys Shoemaker Hodges age 88, of Rocky Mount passed away Saturday August 1, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Nelson Hodges; two children, William Hodges and Linda Hodges.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Gerry & Allen Hodges, Joyce & A. Moody; son, Jackie Hodges; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; sister, Garnett Guthrie.
Graveside services will be conducted at Franklin Memorial Park 1:00 pm Monday August 3, 2009 with Rev. Dan Agee officiating.Her family will receive friends Monday August 3, 2009 from 11:30 – 12:30 at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount. www.florafuneralservice.com
