Gladys Woods Smith

Gladys Woods Smith, 64 of Ferrum, VA was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 11, 2020.  Gladys was born on November 10th, 1955 in Rocky Mount, VA to the late Wilbert and Mamie Woods.

She was a loving mother, devoted wife and a friend to many.  Gladys was a hard worker and would bend over backwards to help anyone in need.  She was someone that you could call on and she would drop what she was doing to be there for you.

Gladys is survived by Roger L. Smith, her husband for over 44 years; her two sons, Paul Ryan (Desiree) and Jackie Lee (April); her six grandkids, Colton, Brooke, Logan, Kendall, Miah and Kadence; five brothers, Maxie, Ronnie, Tommie, Jimmie, Dannie; two sisters, Helen and Darlene; many nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her sister, Edith; and brother, Jackie.
