Glen Edward Foster

Glen Edward Foster, age 90 of Rocky Mount, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023. He spent his final days surrounded by family and friends peacefully in his home. Glen touched many lives through his years of service in the United States Army, working at Norfolk Southern Railroad and driving for the Franklin County Department of Aging. He was an active member at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church and loved spending time surrounded by his family. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Benny & Ronaldia Foster; brothers, Bill Foster & Donald Foster; sister, Mary McBride; and brother-in-law, Allen McBride. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Foster; two children, Mark & Lynne Foster and Vanessa Carter; two granddaughters, Berkeley Albino (Blake Albino) & Kayla Santrock (Alex Koiner); sisters-in-law, Nancy Foster & Ruby Foster; special brother and sister-in-law, George and Eunice Hall; many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Franklin Memorial Park, 2:30 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2023 with Rev. Joe Dillon officiating. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
