Glenn Wilford Lynch

Mr. Glenn Wilford Lynch, age 75 of Wirtz left to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 25, 2010. He was a faithful member of Franklin Heights Baptist Church for over 30 years and enjoyed his fellowship with the “Believers” Sunday School Class. He served in the US Air Force and retired from the Kroger Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Mary Elizabeth Lynch; and brothers, James Lynch, Alfred (Snake Eye) Lynch, and Alphonzo (Ticker) Lynch. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Frances Altice Lynch; children, Roger Lynch, Robin and Jerry Forry, Russell and Renee Robertson, and Kevin Robertson; grandchildren, Kyle Forry and fiancée Beverly Ann Davis, Blair and Chris Dillon, Branden and Ashley Robertson, Brittany and Marc Centeio and soon to be great-grandson M.J. Centeio; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Rhonda Lynch; and sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Paul Foley. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. J. Larry Holland and Rev. Mark Griffith officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Franklin Heights Baptist Church - Attn: “Believers” Sunday School Class, 110 Hilltop Drive, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. His family will receive friends 6-8 pm Friday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
