Glenva Roy Hodges, age 64 of Rocky Mount died Saturday, September 12, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lola Hodges; grandchild, Christian Reed Hensley; former wife, Debra Gillenwater; brother, William Hodges; sisters, Dorothy Dillon and Barbara Arrington; brothers-in-law, Coy Gibson and Glenwood Arrington. Surviving are his daughter, Shannon Hensley (Charles); grandchildren, Charles Rakes, Taylor, Summer and Ashton Hensley; brother, John Hodges (Dorothy); sisters, Debra Gibson, Cathy Wray (George), Arlene Feazelle (W.G.); sister-in-law, Vivian Hodges; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Chapel with Dr. Jackie Spence officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
