Gloria Perdue Angle, age 82 of Rocky Mount went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 6, 2007.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Lee Angle; and a son, Vernon Angle. She was also predeceased by her parents, John O. and Maggie Pearl Lynch Perdue; brothers, Bill, Lee and Wayne Perdue.
Surviving are her sons, Mike Angle, of the home and his fiancé, Connie Spencer, David Angle; daughters and sons-in-law, Marie and David Hunt, Richmond and Faye and Allen Mills; her grandchildren, David (Carla) Hunt, Kim Hunt, Amy Wyatt, Leslie (Louis) Robertson, Tabitha (David) Fisher, Jessica Angle (Andrew Huff) and Jennifer Angle; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Brown; brothers, John and Richard Perdue; her special sister-in-law, Virginia Angle; numerous nieces and nephews; special cousins, Thelma Bowman and Tessie Perdue.
Mrs. Angle retired from Franklin Memorial Hospital and was a member of Doe Run Christian Church.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2007 with Dr. J. Cecil Riley officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Friday 6 to 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
