Gloria Jean Moore Evans

Gloria Jean Moore Evans, age 64 of Ferrum passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014. She was born May 28, 1950 to the late Raymond Moore and Leona Moore Hall. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Lynwood Lewis Evans; two children, Lynwood "Lynn" Evans (Renee), Christy Evans Sledd (Brian); grandchildren, Patrick Wayne Evans, Whitney Christine McKinney (Dakota), Gina Marie McKinney, and Gabby Marie McKinney; step-parents, Ralph and Joan Hall; two sisters, Virginia "Pam" Hall (Jr.), Kitty Woods (Tim); and one brother, Teddy Moore (Sally). Memorial services will be held 6 p.m. Friday at Ferrum Faith Assembly of God. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home of Christy Sledd, 97 Valley Road, Hardy, Va. 24065.
