Goldie Frances Lynch

Goldie Frances Lynch, age 89 of Glade Hill passed away Saturday, October 01, 2016. She was born June 24, 1927, a daughter of the late Thomas and Cora Hodges and Lora Robertson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charlie B. Lynch; son-in-law, Melvin Ellis. Surviving are her sons, Charlie Eugene Lynch, Sr. (Barbara), Thomas Junior Lynch (Velma) and Roger L. Lynch (Cindy); daughters, Joyce Ellis and Donna Parker (Herman); eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; half-sister, Evelyn Pagans; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Flora Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ronald Coleman, Rev. Wayman Tyree and Rev. Denver Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6-8 pm Monday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
