Gracie Bobbitt Dillon

Gracie Bobbitt Dillon, age 88 of Hardy died Wednesday, July 7, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Reed Dillon; parents, Harry and Ola Bobbitt; sister, Mary Louise Bobbitt; and brothers, Clyde, Gilbert, and Junior. Surviving are her children, Wanda Bowles (Mitchell), Virgil (Joanne), and Timmy Dillon; grandchildren, Shelley Sloan (Lonnie), Anna Holtz, Bonnie, Casey and Matthew Dillon; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Rankins, Betty and Kenny Underwood, Nellie Mills and Daniel Pruitt; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Emma Jean Franklin Woodard officiating. Interment will follow in Epworth United Methodist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
