Gracie Boothe Peters

Gracie Boothe Peters, age 83 of Wirtz passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at her home. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Jahue Robert (Jadie) Boothe and Bessie Lee Peters Boothe; granddaughter, Ginger Ann Ronk; four brothers; and four sisters. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, David A. Peters; children, Sue Gipe (Donnie), Raymond Peters (Jeanette), Jean Boone (Roger), Mary Ann Ronk (Calvin), D.A. Peters (Kenlynn); Joey Peters; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Archie (Frances) Boothe, Billy Boothe; sisters, Barbara (Raymond) Akers, Shirley Wood; sister-in-law, Bunah Boothe; brother-in-law, Malcolm Montgomery; numerous nieces and nephews; and in-laws, Annie Montgomery (Daniel), Virginia Rutrough (Kenneth), Dennis Peters (Jeanette). Funeral services will be conducted from Oak Hill Old German Baptist Brethren Church 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gentle Shepherd Hospice (540-989-6265). Her family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Oak Hill Church.
