Grady "Buddy" Henry Turner, Jr.

Grady “Buddy” H. Turner, Jr., age 75 of Callaway went to Heaven Sunday, July 17, 2022. He was born October 23, 1946 to the late Grady H. and Dorothy Turner and was also preceded in death by his brother, Bill Grant; and two nephews, Timmy Grant and Eddie Grant. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Ava Greenwood Turner; his precious son, James “J.C.” Turner; two beautiful grandchildren, Abigail and Andrew Turner; brothers-in-law, Bill and Sandra Greenwood and their family, Harold Nichols and his family. Buddy loved God, family, and fishing. He also enjoyed antique cars and tractors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Callaway Volunteer Fire Department or Rescue Squad. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2022 with Pastor Tom Nestor officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
