Grover Alfred Ellis

Grover Alfred Ellis, age 90 of Rocky Mount passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Rocky Mount Health and Rehab. He was born July 9, 1931, the youngest in a family of 12 children of the late Charlie and Julie Robertson Ellis. Grover was formerly employed at MW Manufacturers and Morris Furniture Company. He retired from Schewels Furniture. He was preceded in death by his wife Christine Lynch Ellis. Surviving are his niece and caregiver, Brenda Dunman and many other nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at Franklin Memorial Park, 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 28, 2022 with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
