Guy Benford (Buck) Brown, age 77 of Rocky Mount died Saturday, December 8, 2007.
He was born June 18, 1930 a son of the late Bailey and Myrtle Bennett Brown. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Ernest, Lee, Paul and Taylor Brown.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Alice T. Brown; step-son, Alan Hodges; step-granddaughters, Crystal Pagans and Heather Hodges; step-great-granddaughter, Madison Pagans; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lena and Freddy Wells, Ercelle Hodges, Virginia (Jenny) Brammer and Fanny and Donald McNeil; sister-in-law, Judy Saunders and husband Buddy; brother-in-law, Robert Turner and wife, Diona; several nieces, nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted from the Brown Family Cemetery, 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2007 with Pastor Rick Poland officiating.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday with his family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount and other times at the family home.
