Harold Mitchell Holland

Harold Mitchell “Papa” Holland, age 71 of Rocky Mount died Sunday, June 20, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruby Holland; and sister, Wanda “Bunny” Holland. Surviving are his wife, Valerie Holland; children, Brian Holland (Amanda), Christa Holland; grandchildren, Chelsea “Buttons” Hodges (Brenden), Brandon “Thumper” Holland, Cameron “Lil’man” Holland, Liam “Hey you” Holland, Xena McKenzie; great-grandchild, Brailynn “Bubbles” Hodges; brothers, Kenneth Holland, Dennis Holland; sister, Jenette Belcher (Otis); numerous nieces and nephews; his cat, “old puss”; and his dog, “gigi”. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
