Harold E. Pruitt

Harold E. Pruitt, age 87 of Glade Hill died Monday, May 10, 2021. He was born August 22, 1933 a son of the late Promise Percy Pruitt and Flossie Craighead Pruitt. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ellen J. Pruitt; and two sisters. Surviving are his two daughters, Lynn Pruitt, Donna Beckner (Wayne); two sons, Michael Todd Pruitt (Rhonda), Eddie Pruitt; grandchildren, Tracie Radford, Joey Pruitt (Michelle), Travis Pruitt, Savannah Spicer (David), Nicole Pruitt, Michon; six great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Meador; and best friend, Little Tucker. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. David Long officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
