Harry Randolph "Randy" Scott

Harry Randolph Scott, age 68 of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. He was born in Pulaski, VA on August 23, 1954, the son of the late Francis Hume Scott III and Harriett Crabtree. Randy was also preceded in death by his sister, Ella Scott. Randy is survived by his brother, Francis “Sandy” Hume Scott IV (Marilyn); his daughter, Leah (Nate); and son, Cody Scott. He had four grandchildren, Jack, Nick, Ethan and Brock. Randy retired after 35 years as a rural mail carrier in Elliston and enjoyed going to watch his son and grandsons’ sporting events. He was a golfer, an avid reader, guitar player and loved traveling, history, and sports. He was kind, generous, funny, and a man who loved his family and friends. He will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to be a part of his life. Private burial services will be held at Forest Rest Natural Cemetery.
