Harvey C. Hodges

Harvey Clinton Hodges, age 70 of Rocky Mount, Virginia, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Stanley Hodges; father, Clinton Hodges; sister, Joyce Kennedy; great-grandson, Carson Altice; and special fur friend, Bud. Surviving are his children, Kevin Altice (Jodey), Susan Miller (Russell), Doyle Hodges (Elizabeth), and Richard Jefferson (Katie); several grandchildren and a great grandchild. Also surviving are his mother, Mae Hodges; siblings, Harold Hodges, Kerry Hodges (Carole), Stella Altice, and Greg Hodges (Valeria); several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank his caregivers, special nephew, Brad Mullins, his Hospice Team of Nurses with Amedisys, Ktesha Penn, Jeanetta Bailey, Jamie Zeiglar, Mary Law, and Sierra Harris, Elizabeth Scott and Susan Miller. Funeral services will be conducted at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren, 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 3, 2022 with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Robertson Family Cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist with expenses.
