Hattie Jones Laprade

Hattie "Tattee" Etter Jones LaPrade, age 72 of Rocky Mount passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014. She was the last child of Woodson and Dulcie Turner Jones. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Surviving are her children, Roger Foley (Ruth), Doug Foley (Terri), Tracy Foley; nine grandchildren, Melissa, Samantha, Melinda, Ray, Harley, Hayden, Hannah, Tessa and Amy; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews including special nieces, Betty Johnson, Lorna Jones and Denise Jones; special friend, Cicero Perdue; and her family at Tanyard Village. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow at Henry Memorial Park. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Carilion Hospice of Franklin County. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount and other times at Tanyard Village.
