Hazel Lee St. Jacques

Hazel Lee Reynolds St. Jacques age 87 of Wirtz, formerly of Monroe County, WVA passed away Saturday, June 30, 20l2 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born May l7, l925 a daughter of the late John and Oma Miller Reynolds. Hazel and her late husband Robert owned and operated a dairy farm and were school bus drivers in Monroe County, WVA after which she was a CNA at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her second husband , Raymond St. Jacques; son, William Lewis “Bill” St. Jacques; brother, Herman; sisters, Mabel, Alma and Ethel. Surviving are her children and spouses, Roberta and C.L. Reece, Robert “Bob” St. Jacques II, Peggy and Glenn Rutrough; stepson , Steven St. Jacques ; grandchildren and spouses, Philip and Tanya Reece, Rebecca and Ronald Munsey, Rob St. Jacques Palmer and Tina, Brittany St .Jacques and Thomas St. Jacques, Serena and Darrell Akers, Glenna and Jackie McPeak, Kimberly and Jay Weston, Matthew St. Jacques, Terry St. Jacques, Perry St. Jacques, Mandi Underwood and Rosemary St. Jacques; 13 great- grandchildren; a special great-great grandchild, Bentley; special caregiver, Dana Dodson. Funeral services will be conducted at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church l0:00 A.M. Tuesday with Pastor Joe Dillon officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Sink’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Sink’s Grove, WV. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Sandy Ridge Baptist Church. Her family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Monday at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount/Smith Mtn. Lake.
