Hazel Thompson Taylor Weddington

Hazel Thompson Taylor Weddington, of Rocky Mount died Saturday, November 19, 2016. She was born June 12th in Botetourt County. Surviving are her daughter, Angel Hodges; grandson, Jesse Hodges; two sisters, Louise Eanes and Corinne Anderson and husband Johnny; sister-in-law, Nancy Thompson; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Thompson and Annie Shively Thompson; brothers, Harvey, Earl, Kenneth and Keith Thompson; and sister, Dorothy Spencer. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2016 with Pastor Eddie Hawks officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
