Helen Anderson

Helen Erma Anderson, age 53 of Rocky Mount died Thursday, June 20, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron, Sr. and Opal Johnson Overstreet; and sisters, Edna Mae Overstreet and Barbara Ellen. Surviving are her husband of 16 years, Jessie Anderson; children, Neil (Penny) Anderson and Brad (Melissa) Anderson; grandchildren, David, Danielle, Dakota, Arianna and Cheyenne Anderson; sisters, Nancy (Delano) McCrickard, Elizabeth (Art) Beckner, Joyce (Leonard) Aken; brother, Aaron F. (Lois) Overstreet, Jr.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Johnny (Coreen) Anderson, Janice (Ron) McLaughlin; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Boones Chapel Church of the Brethren 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Mike Gallimore and Pastor Glenn McCrickard officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
