Helen Biggs Stanley, 88, passed away January 23, 2021 at home in Palm Coast, Florida, with her family by her side. Born March 30, 1932 in Berwind, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Harold Biggs and Nora Vincell Biggs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Franklin (Jack) Stanley, Jr.; three sons, Charles Wayne Stanley, Michael Lee Stanley and George Thomas (Butch) Stanley; brother, Harold (Buck) Biggs and sister, Martha Henzler.
Her favorite thing to do was to go on family cruises and spend some fun time in the casino. She loved afternoon tea, getting dressed up for dinner and going to shows. She adored the family rescue dog, Nikki, who sat faithfully by her side.
Helen is survived by her two daughters, Kristi Banks (Donny Brook) of the home and Pamela Brewer of Crestview, Fl. Her devoted grandchildren, Jay Peters (Ruby) of Rocky Mount, VA., Lori Strachan (Steven) of Martinsville, VA., Matt Tolar (Kimberly) of Humble, TX., Vincent Rodriguez (Tiffany) of Savannah, GA., Angela Rodriguez of Crestview, Fl., Tanya Stanley of Pasadena, TX and Delores Hopper of Dickinson, TX.; sisters; Joyce Kulakowski, Cape Charles, VA., Sadie Toney, Wichita Falls, TX., Ruth Brown, Pinellas Park, FL., Sherry McAlister, Grottoes, VA., and Terry Teter, Spring Hill, FL.; two daughters-in-law, Betty Lou Stanley, Kingwood, TX., Betty Beckner Stanley, Dickenson, TX.; numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Saturday with Chaplain Caleb Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Callaway Community Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Condolences may be expressed at www.florafuneralservice.com
